Don Durkin, Staff Accountant

Don Durkin currently serves as Staff Accountant for GPX Enterprises, L.P. In this role, Mr. Durkin is involved with various financial reporting and accounting needs for the GPX portfolio companies.

Prior to joining GPX, Mr. Durkin worked as Junior Accountant at the Saint-Gobain Corporation U.S. Delegation, a leader in the development and manufacturing of construction products.

Mr. Durkin was part of the team that managed all the accounting for the company’s pension funds, as well as employee benefit plans, including the 401(k), long-term-disability, and retiree-medical plans.

Mr. Durkin also headed the successful completion of U.S. GAAP audits for two 401(k) plans, the Pension Fund and other special audit projects regarding the divestiture of subsidiaries.

Having been highly involved in the consolidation of the company’s many businesses, Mr. Durkin established a strong foundation and understanding of the accounting needs for large company mergers and acquisitions.
